She is a graduate of Trinity College, where she served aide to a member of the Scottish Parliament, and the University of Maine School of Law. While in law school, she was a member of the Moot Court Board and a student attorney in the Cumberland Legal Aid Clinic. Attorney Hoffman has served as a member of the University of Maine School of Law Alumni Association Board of Directors and as a volunteer for Portland Trails.
